Photog input needed

Okay, shooters, I need some advice.

I have to buy some editing software for a project and would appreciate your thoughts on the stuff you've used. (I have an Apple computer.) The project is more complicated than a resume tape but not a Spielberg film.

Thanks in advance!

Final Cut Pro... Expensive but, solid and one of the industry standards.

I've always liked Avid best, but FCP is solid too.

if you're an apple guy, final cut is the way to go.

we use Edius at the station. you can probably get it a little cheaper, and you can stack mixed formats back to back with out rendering. it's also a very intuitive program and fairly user friendly. gimme a buzz if you have any questions. i think you have my number.

You might only really need Final Cut Express, which is considerably cheaper than the full version. It has most of the features of Pro and does the job just fine if you're not doing an overly complicated project.
